An avid fan of the legendary Temptations, Gordon Newsome makes his stage debut in an award-winning starring role of David Ruffin, lead vocalist of The Temptations, in CFA Productions', "The Temptations Story"; a stage presentation of the popular movie, "The Temptations".

Mr. Newsome's performance was so convincing as David Ruffin that audience members stood in line, after the show,  to obtain his autograph.

Gordon  Newsome plays basketball at Southwest Community College, where he is studying Criminal Justice.

These 5 dashing young men formed the main cast of the stageplay, "THE TEMPTATIONS' STORY", produced by CFA Productions, Inc, written and directed by Carolyn Yancy-Gunn; adapted from the movie "The Temptations".

This group performed, with pinpoint accuracy,  all of the Temptations major hits, along with the most magnificent choreography in the history of rhythm and blues.

"The Temptations' Story" also included renactments of all of the major scenes of the movie, "The Temptations".

The play debuted at the Rose Theater in September of 2007 and will be performed again at a time to be announced.

After the performance,  fans in the audience stood in line, seeking autographs from this dynamic group of men.
